Escambia County Divorce Records
Escambia County divorce records are official documents generated during a divorce proceeding. The Clerk and Comptroller Office maintains these records and issues them to the general public. However, certain portions of divorce records, especially those about minor children, are deemed confidential. Interested persons may view or order copies of divorce records in two ways:
- Online: Requesters may view records for free using the Clerk’s Online Case Search portal. The search criteria include a name or case number. They may also complete the Request for Copies or Viewing of Court Records Form to obtain copies of divorce records online. Once the documents are ready, the clerk will contact the requester by phone or email to arrange payment for the copying fees and delivery method.
- In Person: Individuals may visit the clerk’s office during business hours to obtain copies of divorce records. Copy fees apply.
Information available in divorce records includes the judge’s name, case number, court type, events, parties’ names and types, file date, case type, case dockets, and outstanding amounts. The documents also include petitions, motions, orders, financial disclosure statements, and the final decree.
